The Philodendron mayoi will give your space a tropical feel, with its large, extremely lobed leaves. This philodendron is a fairly low-maintenance plant, once you follow the care requirements below.
This plant can get big, and aerial roots can sprout. The aerial roots can be left to grow wild, or you can prune them back if you prefer. When pruning your mayor, the pruned leaves can be left in water as decorative pieces throughout your space. Spread the tropical vibes everywhere!
These are toxic to pets, so be careful with your furry friends. The sap can also be toxic to humans. When pruning the plant, make sure that you wash your hands after and do not touch your eyes and mouth.

This plant thrives in bright indirect sunlight, but can live in lower light settings. Direct light is too intense, and can cause burning. However, giving the plant more light can encourage more reddish orange leaves, vs darker green leaves.
