Caladiums also provide us with exciting new opportunities as plant parents. These plants tend to die down in cooler months, and require a rest period. In the fall, after the leaves die down, it is best to let the tubers rest during the Winter, to grow back in the Spring. 

During the Spring-Summer months, enjoy these Caladium plants in their full glory! If your plant blooms, it is best to cut the flowers off to allow the plant's energy to be directed to their leaves.
