Caladium plants are fascinating, and a definite show stopper when their large leaves are on full show. We have compiled some beautiful assorted Caladiums. Choose the one you love the most!

Caladiums also provide us with exciting new opportunities as plant parents. These plants tend to die down in cooler months, and require a rest period. In the fall, after the leaves die down, it is best to let the tubers rest during the Winter, to grow back in the Spring.

During the Spring-Summer months, enjoy these Caladium plants in their full glory! If your plant blooms, it is best to cut the flowers off to allow the plant's energy to be directed to their leaves.

These are toxic to pets, so be careful with your furry friends.

Note: Plants are unique! The plant pictured is meant to give you an idea of the specification and quality of the plant you will receive, but will not be an exact replica.

Light Requirements

Medium to bright indirect

Caladium leaves can burn easily in direct light, so ensure that the plant is in indirect/filtered light. However, provide this plant with sufficient light to grow its large leaves.

Water Requirements

It is very important to keep the soil of your Caladium plants moist during the growing season, and provide the plant with as high humidity as you can. Lower humidity and not enough water will cause yellowing of the leaf. In the fall, when the leaves die back, reduce watering and allow the plant tubers to dry out. Note: Be sure not to let the plant sit in pooled water as that can cause root rot. Look out for brown, mushy leaves which is a tell-tale sign of overwatering.
