Aglaonema (also known as Chinese Evergreens) are popular indoor plants due to their easy care. The Aglaonema Rubi has a beautiful deeper green colour, which makes the vibrant red centre of the leaf POP! Its light pink stems are some of the cutest stems I have ever seen. Make sure to review the light requirements below, which differ slightly from other aglaonema.

Light Requirements

Variable

This plant can tolerate any lighting conditions you give it. Of course, brighter light will result in better/faster growth. Rotate your plant regularly to keep the even shape.

Water Requirements

Low to Moderate

It is best to let this plant dry out before watering. These plants can go weeks without water, especially in the winter. However, regular watering will result in better growth. Note: Be sure not to let the plant sit in pooled water as that can cause root rot. Look out for brown, mushy leaves which is a tell-tale sign of overwatering.
