The mother of snake plants, the Whale Fin Sansevieria (reclassified as part of the Dracaena genus) is large and in charge. Sure to stand out among shorter plants. Enjoy the one "fin" for a while, as with proper care, the plant will grow other leaves. Snake plants have increased in popularity due to their practically indestructible nature and their regal leaves. (Note: you still have to take care of them!) Have a look at the easy care instructions below.

This plant is toxic to pets. Please be careful around your furry friends.

Note: Plants are unique! The plant pictured is meant to give you an idea of the specification and quality of the plant you will receive, but will not be an exact replica.

Light Requirements

This plant can survive in any light condition. Really. That's all I have to say on this. However, if you would like your plant to thrive and grow, ensure to provide medium to bright indirect light. Note: Zero light does not work for plants. Please avoid putting your plants in dark corners of your space.

Water Requirements

And I mean LOW. Allow the soil to dry out between watering. Do not be tempted to give it more water than it needs. Note: Be sure not to let the plant sit in pooled water as that can cause root rot.

Such a Cool Plant

This plant is so neat. It arrived in great condition, soil was a little loose from shipping, but easily fixed. I have bottom watered once and I gave very diluted fish emulsion. Seems to be rather happy in a room with an east facing window, about 10 feet away from said window. A great addition to my growing sansevieria collection :)
