Rhaphidophora tetrasperma- Monstera "Ginny"
Couldn't load pickup availability
The Rhaphidophora tetrasperma is also known as the Monstera Ginny, due to its resemblance to the well-loved Monstera deliciosa. However, these two plants are not related (not in the same genus). Given the right conditions, this plant can grow and vine quite quickly. You may need to trim it regularly to keep its shape. On the plus side, it is a great plant to propagate to either get a bushier appearance, or to share with friends.
Note: Plants are unique! The plant pictured is meant to give you an idea of the specification and quality of the plant you will receive, but will not be an exact replica.

Light Requirements
Light Requirements
Bright
This plant likes light (not too much direct light though). Bright indirect light would encourage growth and fenestrations (i.e. developing the holes in the leaves).
Water Requirements
Water Requirements
Moderate
Although the plant is forgiving when you forget a watering or two, the plant ideally likes a consistently moist (not consistently wet) environment. It would do well with watering a bit at a time once you notice that the soil is starting to get dry. Note: Be sure not to let the plant sit in pooled water as that can cause root rot.

What a gorgeous plant! In person pick up was a breeze, and Safiya gave me great advice on how to care for it (after making sure I bought a pet friendly plant). I’m so looking forward to watching it grow like a monster! Thanks Safiya!
