Calathea albertii - Yellow Fusion
Couldn't load pickup availability
If you love the Calathea White Fusion but are looking for an easier time, then the Calathea Yellow Fusion might be for you! Its minty green and yellow colour is a unique twist to the classic green shade of other plants. The leaves itself have a delicate feel, but once you follow the light and water requirements in the following tabs. Â Another plant for The Painted Leaf collection.
These plants tend to be lower-growing plants commonly found as ground cover in a jungle. With that knowledge, their water and light requirements in the following tabs make sense.
As part of the Marantaceae (prayer plant) family, Â these plants also move their leaves in a praying hands method throughout the day. It is awesome to see their leaves in different positions in the morning and at night! These plants can be difficult to get the hang of, so be sure to read the water and light requirements in the other tabs!

Pet lovers will be happy to know that these plants are non-toxic. But please don't let cute little Milou nibble these beautiful leaves!
Note: Plants are unique! The plant pictured is meant to give you an idea of the specification and quality of the plant you will receive, but will not be an exact replica.

Light Requirements
Light Requirements
Low to Medium
People with lower light settings will be happy to know that this plant prefers lower light settings. Direct light is a no-no, medium light is best to maintain the white variegation, but they also do well in lower light, albeit with some loss of the white colour. In its natural habitat, this plant is often shaded by taller plants/trees.
Water Requirements
Water Requirements
Moderate
Calathea plants like to be consistently moist (not wet!). If the plant dries out too much, then it can result in pests. I like to give these plants a bit of water frequently, as opposed to drenching them and allowing them to dry out. Important: These plants tend to be sensitive to water with chemicals and minerals. Tap water may cause these plants to get brown tips. If possible, water your plant with rain water, filtered water or water that has been standing for at least 24 hours. It is also important to water them with room temperature water. Try not to get water on their leaves as this can result in fungal issues. Note: Be sure not to let the plant sit in pooled water as that can cause root rot.

The plant came in good condition, nicely and carefully wrapped.
Thank you!
All my plants arrived only hours before a Blizzard here in one of the coldest provinces to be in. Manitoba My husband came downstairs to see what I was laughing about! Now if that is not a definition of laughing out loud then I don't know what else it could mean! Lol This little treasure is delicate with pretty little leaves đ that move softly. The colors are beautiful.
It arrived quickly and in wonderful shape. It is beautiful and doing well. I will certainly order again.
